Okay, not as late as I was expecting, good. Hi, Salsa here! I am returning to DWRP after some time off with Lisa Imai, bassist of Roselia, from the BanG Dream! multimedia franchise. (Sorry, no GIF, never been good at finding those.) Lisa hasn't changed horribly from home in big ways; she's still a musician and still mother hens everyone in her general vicinity. No best friend to act as shoulder devil angel to, though, and perhaps most importantly, Lisa isn't in a band here, and indeed is not a household name at all... not for lack of trying. AU!Lisa is 19, having spent her late teens in and around Nashville trying to make it big in country music and never really hitting the big time, even if she was well-liked. She's not a hundred percent sure why she never caught on, but she's hoping to find that out through major life changes. That's what brought her to New York in the first place: she's in college for music and continues to play bars and venues in the city several nights a week, hoping to rediscover herself. Unlike her original self, here she plays acoustic guitar and sings, so she'll be a little disoriented when her fingers suddenly want to play on four strings. Lisa is uncomplicated on the surface in both her lives, but there's a decent chunk to unpack for someone so apparently simple, and I'm looking forward to exploring some of that. Her AU is approachable, open, and friendly, and slams shut like a fire door if her insecurities flare up, which is going to be interesting to play with; she also can't really shut up or stop moving, but she's fine with that.

I am excited to be in a game again and am really looking forward to Tramitem! Please hit me up if you have ideas or want to do stuff or. Maybe just in general, ahaha. Please also ask questions if Lisa's everything is confusing; it can be hard to keep track of what counts and what doesn't. Bandori is presently three anime seasons, one three-minute gag anime season (that doesn't count given the choco cornet cinnamon bun murders at least three people and someone is sacrificed to a deity), one short-form anime about the idol band Pastel*Palettes, several manga, a mobile game that introduces and provides most of the story beats for most of the bands, a movie that's actually just an animated hour and a half live show, weekly radio broadcasts, and over a dozen actual major concerts because Roselia, Raise A Suilen and Poppin'Party are real bands outside the canon and have multiple anime openings between themselves (and Pastel*Palettes) and played the Budokan last year, roughly equivalent to filling Madison Square Garden or another major stadium that would be the highlight of an artist's career. Lisa's voice actress (she's on her second, the first having retired) herself plays bass and sings backup vocals at those shows, and at least some of Lisa the character's mannerisms during shows are based on her voice actress' performances on stage. The live shows aren't themselves canon; they end up getting absorbed into the anime over time.

...where was I going with all that... Ah, right, please feel free to poke me at [plurk.com profile] eternities, or MaxSalsa#9974 on Discord with plans, questions, or concerns. I stayed up too late this weekend on the PSO2 beta so I still have some work to get Lisa's journal set up, but it'll happen over the course of the next couple days, as I get her info post set up and make all the links within point to actual posts. I work early mornings so my tagging hours can be a little strange; apologies in advance. This isn't my first Earth AU game though, so I've got a good idea how I want to go forward, and I just need to convert lessons learned from older characters to make Lisa shine. Thank you for putting up with my craziness, and I'm looking forward to playing with everyone!

EDIT - I know what I forgot now! I don't have a GIF, but I do have the game-size music video for Neo-Aspect, probably my. Third favorite Roselia song? The second Lisa should get back as a regain relatively soonish and the first doesn't have an MV, it's a B-side single, sob.
