AC Duration

Welcome to Tramitem's Activity Check for the month of December, 2020.

The monthly activity check will be open until 11:59 pm EST on the 7th of January, 2021.

All players must respond to the AC, unless the player has an active hiatus excusing them from the AC or their character meets one of the exemptions below.

Don't Panic! - Just read through carefully. If you have questions, ask the mods. It's okay if all you want to do is submit only Basic AC. You got this!

AC Exemptions

The following are exempt from AC:

Characters who were accepted during the month of December. Please be sure to still comment below to check in as a Roll Call. Use the form title "Easiest Form - Basic AC/Roll Call/Strike Removal" listed below. Responding to the simple Roll Call will automatically earn a character 4 pts.
Characters who were covered by a posted hiatus for at least 16 days out of the AC period.
Players with reasonable cause to ask for an exemption. Please contact the mods to let us know what these circumstances are and we will work with you.

Basic AC and Strike Removal

All other characters/players who don't have an AC exemption must respond to the AC by submitting proof of minimum activity. This is also the time to remove strikes, if a player has one. Submitting Basic AC will automatically earn a character 4 pts.

There will be no warning list posted after AC closes. Characters will be swept if they don’t check in or post AC, and will have to reapp to the game to resume play.

BASIC ACTIVITY CHECK - 4 pts:

Basic AC for the month of December, 2020 is ROLL-CALL ONLY

Players can still submit links for Additional Activity and Bonus Point Options, but for the AC portion of any form used below, players need only state if they are sticking around.

STRIKE REMOVAL - 0 pts:
Players can still remove strikes this month (if a character currently has a strike, they cannot earn additional points).

To remove a strike, players must submit a link that meets for following criteria:

A Network/Comm/Log subthread showing a minimum of five (5) comments from your character. The thread must have been started in the month of December and all comments must be from December.

Additional Activity and Bonus Point Options

During the Activity Check is the time to list your extra activity to earn additional points. The following two sections explain the various ways to earn more points for additional activity or certain kinds of activity.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY - Points Variable:
Links for Additional Activity must be from December and all minimum required comments must be from December, the links submitted must meet the following criterial:

Tag-ins to Other Character’s Posts (Network/Comm/Log) – 4 pts for each submitted link

These subthreads must have five (5) comments minimum from your character
These subthreads can be from any community in the game
Players can submit up to five (5) links total for this option

Your Character’s Whole Post (Network/Comm/Log) – 2 pts for each subtmitted link

At a minimum, your character must address/engage every top-level comment in some way.

Top-levels on Event/Large Group threads will count under this option

A log composed in gdocs will count under this option – either completed, or, if incomplete, it shows meaningful engagement from your character. They must be posted to a game community to count. (All players involved in this kind of post can claim points under this option.)

Players can submit up to three (3) links total for this option

BONUS POINTS OPTIONS - Points Variable:
Except for where explicitly stated otherwise, links for Bonus Point Options must be from December and all minimum required comments must be from December. A link can only be used for ONE Bonus Point Option per AC. Each option has their own criteria:

New CR – 4 pts for each submitted link.

A link to a subthread wherein your character interacts with another character they have not previously interacted with before.
These subthreads must have five (5) comments minimum from your character.
These subthreads can be from any community in the game.
Players can submit up to two (2) links total for this option.

Mega Sub-thread – 8 pts for each submitted link.

A link to a subthread wherein your character has made a minimum of twenty-five (25) comments.
These subthreads can be from any community in the game.
Players can submit up to one (1) link total for this option.
The sub-thread used in this option cannot appear in the link used in the Mega Post Bonus Option.

Mega Post – 20 pts for each submitted link.

A link to a post made by your character wherein every subthread has a minimum of five (5) comments from your character.
The post must have a minimum of five (5) subthreads, each by a different character.
These subthreads can be from any community in the game.
Only the character's singular Top-Level on Event/Massive Group Catch-All Logs will count.
Players can submit up to one (1) link total for this option.
The post used in this option cannot contain the sub-thread link used in the Mega Sub-thread option.

Continuing/Finishing Old Threads – 6 pts for each submitted link.

A link to a subthread that was started in a previous month but continued into December.
These subthreads must either have been finished in the December or have five (5) comments minimum from your character in the December.
These subthreads can be from any community in the game.
Players can submit up to three (3) links total for this option.

Activity Forms and Form Example

To make things easiest for players, we've provided a few different versions of the Activity Form. Players do not need to try for additional points, it is perfectly acceptable to just submit Basic AC for their character(s). If players would like to submit additional links for additional points, they are encouraged to do so. To the right of the form options, we provide an example of what the Full AC Form will look like.

Players can post all of their characters in one comment. But please be kind to the mods and delete the code you don't need.
