AC Duration


Welcome to Tramitem's Activity Check for the month of October, 2020.


The monthly activity check will be open until 11:59 pm EST on the 7th of November. All players must post to AC to report their character's monthly activity or to take a strike, unless the player has an active hiatus excusing them from the AC or their character meets one of the exemptions below.


AC Exemptions

The following are exempt from AC:

  • Characters who were accepted during the month of October. Please be sure to still comment below to check in as a roll call.

  • Characters who were covered by a posted hiatus for at least 16 days out of the AC period.

  • Players with reasonable cause to ask for an exemption. Please contact the mods to let us know what these circumstances are and we will work with you.


All Other Characters

Players need one of the following to pass AC:

  • Logs: A log comment chain, with at least five (5) comments from your character. OR a gdocs/email log either completed or showing five comments from your character.

  • Network/Comm: A network/comm comment chain, with at least five (5) comments from your character.

  • Posts: A network/comm or log post from your character, with every top-level comment addressed in a substantial way. "Substantial" is subjective and the Mods will try to be fair, but basically, no one is ignored.
All of the links used for activity MUST be posted in one of the game communities: [community profile] tramitem_net, [community profile] tramitem_comm, OR [community profile] tramitem_log during the month of October. Threads on the TDM or in Character Inboxes are not considered part of the game.

There will be no warning list posted after AC closes. Characters will be swept if they don’t check in or post AC, and will have to reapp to the game to resume play. Characters who don't meet the minimum AC requirements will receive a strike. Characters who have to take a Strike, or have non-removed existing Strikes will not be able to earn points until the strike is removed.


Points

Now is the time to list your extra activity to earn points. Points are earned for the following activity:

  • Basic Activity: - 2 pts - Pick a comment chain fitting the criteria above for your AC Link. If your character was app'ed during October, then just use Roll Call. Either way this will earn you 2pts.

  • Strike Removal: - 0 pts - To remove a strike, pick an additional comment chain fitting the criteria above for your character. This will not give points.

  • Additional Activity: - 2 pts ea. - For any additional comment chains a character has that fit the criteria for AC above, players may list them for additional points. These comment chains cannot be the same ones used for Basic Activity or Strike Removal. Each comment chain will earn 2 pts. Players can list up to 10 additional comments chains for points.

  • Continuing/Finishing Activity: - 2 pts ea. - For threads that were started in a previous month but substantially continued or finish in October, players may list them again for additional points. Each comment chain will earn 2 pts. Players can list up to 5 continued/finished threads.

  • Bonus Options: - 2 pts ea. - There are two Bonus Point Options that can be use each twice per AC. These Bonus Point Options can be used on your Basic or Additional Activity links and must meet the critera for AC. While a player can claim all bonus point options per AC, a comment chain can be used for only one Bonus Point Option per AC. Each Bonus Option earn 2pts. They are:
    ✦ Comment chain reaches 25 or more comments from your character.
    ✦ New CR - the comment chain fitting AC criteria is with a character your character has never played with before.
Players will be in charge of keeping track of their own points.

Bonus Activity - 25+ Comments - 2 pts ea: LINK 1 (This bonus activity option can be used twice per AC. Please list each link you wish to use.)
Bonus Activity - New CR - 2 pts ea LINK 1 (This bonus activity option can be used twice per AC. Please list each link you wish to use.)
