That's a Lemon Sherbet! ![]() Summary: Just when you need something the most, it’s suddenly a lemon sherbet. Blast! Start: Monday, August 17 Finish: Sunday, August 23 Plot Details Starting Monday, August 17, objects in your character’s vicinity will randomly, and inconveniently turn into lemon sherbet (just as pictured), and just lemon sherbet. Always when your character needs it the most. Your character needs that cup of coffee when they wake up in the morning - oh, no, there’s lemon sherbet on the counter where your character’s french press used to be. Your character needs to watch tv - oh no, there’s lemon sherbet on the stand. Once your character no longer needs the item, the item will return to its original state. The plot will conclude on Sunday, August 23. What items can be affected? Anything that is an inanimate object. Coffee pots, blenders, microwaves, cars*, etc. *Cars/Trucks will be the biggest objects affected. But humans/living things will not be affected. No living thing will be ‘trapped’ inside an object turned into lemon sherbet. Can my character eat the lemon sherbet? Sure. But then you’ve lost your laptop forever! So eat at your own risk. Does the lemon sherbet melt? Oddly, no. Who do I complain to about this? The wind? You can try messaging the Bureau, but they are going to ignore your character. While the object is in lemon sherbet state, does it still work? No. It is lemon sherbet. Why is this happening? It is a strange phenomenon that the Bureau is looking into. They are unlikely to explain their findings. ETA: How will the Non-Different react to things turning into lemon sherbet around the Different? They will think it is some kind of prank. They will not think it is some supernatural phenomenon, no matter what your character tries to explain. Whether they think it is caused by the Different in the situation or someone else is up to the player of the Different to decide. I have more questions! Ask them below.
