Hey Wonderful Players,

With deepest regrets, we're posting to inform you all that we are closing the game.

Ryah has been wrestling with a Real Life that has become increasingly demanding of her time and and energy and it's reached a point where she needs to, sadly, accept reality for what it is, and step down from the game. Real life hits hard when it does and sometimes we can't change that.

Unfortunately, this leaves Ang to mod on her own and after frank discussion, we both realize she can't carry this game alone.

So, we have made the difficult choice to close the game. We know this was not the mod post you were expecting tonight, it's just before a great plot, and we were so excited for everyone's participation. But it would be cruel to play that out only to tell you afterward.

We are sincerely sorry, and we wish the best for all of you in your future RP.

Hello all! I'm Lore and I'm bringing in Padme Amidala Naberrie from some series about stars and wars that no one's ever heard of. She's coming from the end of Season 6 of Clone Wars.

In game she works at the UN as the Assistant Public Information Officer, working with youth programs. She also spends quite a bit of time volunteering and helping those in need.

Hello everyone!

My name's Megan, and I'm bringing in one Takashi Shirogane (just call him Shiro, everyone does) from Voltron: Legendary Defender. He has CRAU from the Dreamwidth game Synodiporia, just like Jim Kirk, and I'm very much looking forward to playing with you all!

Shiro's Earth AU is a friendly, outgoing post-grad going for a PhD in astrophysics because he has no direction in his life and a professor gently prodded him into it. Evenings and weekends he's often at the local mechanic's shop working, so feel free to know him from there or any classes your character might be taking at college.

You can most easily reach me at librariansheart or via journal PM, but I do work overnight shifts here in the central U.S., so I'm up at weird hours and may not be able to boomerang.

Hey, everyone, I'm just going to put Sudi/Casimir on autopilot for the rest of the month. I'm having some technical difficulties with my laptop, and my backups are more tedious than they deserve to be.

I might attempt the occasional tag, and if I can repair my laptop or get a spare keyboard for my tablet, I'll do my best to jump back into the tagging game.

If anyone wants anything handwaved with Kei, be it new ideas or current goings-on, I'm easiest to reach at Tseil. But I also have a discord at Tseil#2674 if that's easier for you. I'm just more talkative on Plurk than I am on discord.

Mod Annoucements!

Hello wonderful players!

The Mod Team is coming to you with a breif annoucemnt about the change up in the Mod Team Roster.

⇀ *Trumpets sounding* Ang (player of Martin Whitly and Ellie Miller, awesome person, and all around bad-ass) is now Tramitem's new co-mod. She will be a great addition to the team, she has fun ideas for the game and wants to see it grow. She's way excited to be joining the Mod Team.

Ang is going to say 'Hello' below.

⇀ This also where we must tell you all that Marti has now dropped York from the game. She will be still around a bit as a helper mod with the technical things, because the rest of us barely understand Discord. Let's all wave a fond farewell to Marti as a player. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll be back someday.

Over the month of January, we will be updating game pages to reflect this change to the Mod Team, just be patient with us and keep being the wonderful players you all are. If you have questions, you can reach us using one of the methods on the mod contact page.

Dear Tramitem,

Although she has enjoyed her 9 months in the game, helping Ryah with mod duties and plotting, Marti has decided to move on from playing York by the end of December. This means she’ll be dropping the game in toto, and Ryah will need another helper mod to keep things organized and running well.

In addition, Ryah would like to take on a list mod, if possible - someone who is willing to add freshly-apped players to the taken list and such.

Please fill out the form below if you’re interested in taking on either of these roles.

Marti will remain on call for helping with such duties as developing coding and running the discord server.

hey hi i'm carmine! i have benimaru shinmon here. in canon he's a blunt and straightforward kind of guy who loves his city, asakusa, quite dearly. despite his crass way of acting and talking, he's very charismatic and a natural leader.

in his earth au, he's similar, but not nearly as ... battle hardened. gentler, laughs easier, etc.

Droid Invasion Plot Ending Details, A Rule Update, and Point Update/Question

Hello Excellent Players!

Droid Invasion Plot Resolution Details

The Droids are gone. NYC is all back in the right universe. The Different are on the right planet. AKA, the Droid Invasion plot is over.

Because the characters didn’t destroy command centers, the resolution of the plot is that the Bureau was able to recalibrate matters and unstick the converged universes.

A few things for clean up:

⇀ If your character collected anything during the plot and put them in their homes – they can keep that. (No, not tanks whole because those do not fit through doors.) But anything that could have been carried through a door is fair game to keep.

⇀ A few characters died during this plot: Jim Hopper and Bitterblue Monsea. Look for an announcement from The Bureau about this.

For now, the Privacy Filter still works, as Bitterblue hid her work well. But, this does mean changes are coming… ~~Mod Laughter~~

Unrelated to Plot Notes but Relevant to the Game

We will be amending one of our rules – under Reserves and Apps where we say:

“Players can attempt to app the same character up to three (3) times. After that, whether due to rejection or dropping and picking the character back up, a player can no longer apply for that character.”

We will be amending this to:

“After three (3) rejections with no successful apps into the game, a player can no longer attempt to apply to the game.”

This will be updated on the following pages: FAQ, Reserves, and Apps within a few days.

After giving it some thought, we decided to rework the Points System. This will start in November. We wanted to give players more opportunities to gain points while balancing it so it doesn’t go overboard. We will preview the new system before it goes into effect.

Going forward, we also plan to include Basic, Middling, and Full forms on the AC posts, so that a player can submit basic AC without the hassle of deleting a bunch of code. The Middling and Full forms will be for various degrees of point gains depending on how much work a player wants to put in.

And regarding the Points System – we have a poll we want to ask of players:

Currently it costs 6 points for a player to run a game-wide plot, but a player also earns 10 points for doing so.

⇀ Is the point cost of running a game wide plot prohibitive in your opinion?
⇀ Should a player wanting to run a game wide plot cost points?
⇀ If “No”, how many points should a player earn for running a game wide plot?
